Lagi-lagi tertarik baca romance bertema Stockholm Syndrome. Setelah kepingin baca RAW-nya Belle Aurora yang temanya a victim fall for the stalker, sekarang mau coba baca a victim fall for the kidnapper yang bukan historical romance.
Sebenarnya dari sinopsis saja udah bisa ditebak jalan ceritanya seperti apa, bagaimana endingnya. Intinya glorifying kidnapping-lah ya (sok tau). Tapi asal buat bacaan guilty pleasure, bukan berdelusi kalau kasus penculikan di kehidupan nyata itu bisa dimaklumi, rasanya nggak masalah.
Yang bikin buku ini cukup menarik perhatian adalah sampulnya yang oh wow. Serasa penculikan Persephone oleh Hades di gambar ini (still glorifying kindapping…and rape).
Aku berharap chemistry yang kuat dan dialog-dialog mendalam dari novel ini. Semoga bisa cepet kesampaian.
